Nikko's Background (Still writing this out of course)

In the year 2022, Nikko was a young 10 year old boy. He had a fascination with games and computers.
He always dreamed of a new world with new ideals and new adventures. Although he was unpopular in school and was often bullied, he had a few friends of all different ages.
When the new game "Sword Art Online" came out, all his friends brought it on the open release day. Luckily (Or unluckily) Nikko's uncle was able to get a copy of SAO for Nikko's Nerve gear. Unfortunately, On November 6, 2022, the players log into SAO for the first time, and later discover that they are unable to log out. They are then informed by Akihiko Kayaba, SAO's creator, that if they wish to be free, they must reach the 100th floor of the game's tower and defeat the final boss. However, if their avatars die in-game, their bodies will also die in the real world.
All his friends were terrified at the thought of being trapped inside a game of death, but Nikko had a grin on his face. This was the dream he had always dreamed of. A place where he could make a name for himself and go out exploring a whole new world.
One of his friends decided that they should form a guild called "Wild Fire" because there are strength in numbers (Unless you're Kirito/Kazuto) when they formed the Guild, Nikko acted as their main damage dealer increasing his agility and strength.
The Guild's primary goal was to get stronger items to ensure the group's survival.
Unfortunately, on a quest to get a item. They were ambushed by 3 of the Laughing Coffin Guild.
Nikko was paralyzed as his friends were killed in front of him.
As one of the Laughing Coffin members were about to kill him, they got a message saying their hideout has been discovered and they needed to report back.
They left Nikko paralyzed for dead, but like all status effects. They go eventually.
On that day, something in Nikko snapped. He no longer saw the game like he did before, now he sees it for the death game it really is.
He swore that he would beat Sword Art Online for his friends.
The day SAO was cleared, Nikko came out a changed person. Unlike the outgoing boy he once was, he was distant and cold. He felt unfulfilled, he wasn't able to clear the floors for his friends.
His parents decided it would be best if Nikko enrolled in the Sword Art Online school created for Sword Art Online victims.
The year is now 2030 and it's Nikko's last year in the SAO school.
He's often picked on by bullies for being a jerk all the time, but he often gets into physical fights.
One girl called (Yeah... Really bad at thinking of names, lol) always tries to pick him up when he's beaten down, but to little success.
At this point, the first Neuro Linkers and have been invented and are being tested all over the world.
In December 21st, 2030, at 6PM, 10,000 people were forced into a virtual world through the neuro linker.
When everyone looks around, they can see a town. Everyone are in basic MMORPG clothing and the time of day is night.
A person appears in front of them and states: "Welcome to Gekkou Online, my world of Darkness. My name is the Tormentor. Just like Sword Art Online, you are trapped here until you have cleared all floors of the game. But this time, there are a... Few differences... The first, just like in Sword Art Online. You will not be able to logout. The second, if you die here... You will die in the real world. The third, if you kill a player, you will gain an extra life. You all start off with 1 life each. The fourth, this world has no day. It is eternal night. The fifth and most important... If you don't  clear the game in 3 years, I will wipe all of your sorry minds.
Oh, one last thing... If you check your inventory, there will be a present for you..."
As everyone opens their inventory, a dagger appears floating above their hands pointing downwards.
A dial appears next to the Tormentor with numbers from 1-10 which is currently set to 1.
As he sets the dial to 10, he says "...You feel pain!"
The daggers slam down into their hands and people fall down to the ground in pain.
The Tormentor goes on to say "This is what you get for ruining my perfect world..." then he disappears, leaving all the players in shock.
Nikko couldn't take it, he had to suffer the pain all over again. He fell to his knees and looked up to the sky. He then realized this was his chance fulfill his promise to his friends by clearing Gekkou Online and save everyone.


That's about all I can think of ATM, considering I'm suffering from Insomnia ATM. (Lol XD)
But yeah, to describe Nikko's current personality. He's cold, Jerkish and a bit of a bad @$$.
